Ms. Franklin joined Jones Energy in 2007 and is responsible for corporate reserves, acquisition & divestiture valuations, and capital allocation assessments. She began her career with ExxonMobil in 2003 as a drilling engineer in various domestic plays including East Texas, the Piceance Basin in Western Colorado, and the Santa Ynez Unit offshore California. Ms. Franklin then accepted a rotational assignment based in Luanda, Angola as the lead engineer for drilling operations on the tension leg platform in Block 15 (Kizomba A). After joining Jones Energy, she managed the company's successful drilling campaign in the Anadarko Basin with horizontal wells in the Cleveland and Granite Wash formations. Ms. Franklin holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin ('03) will complete her MBA from the McCombs School of Business in May 2012.
