Mr. Niccum joined Jones Energy in August 2011 and has over 18 years of E&P experience. He started his career with Amoco and worked a variety of Engineering roles including drilling short radius horizontal oil wells in Michigan, performing recompletions in Southern Louisiana, and completing HP/HT gas wells in the Tuscaloosa play in Louisiana. Following the BP/Amoco merger, Mr. Niccum started working Deep Water GoM, developing the Pompano/Mica platform and starting up the Holstein and Mad Dog fields. He then returned to the Mid-Continent region and worked as Resource Manager and New Well Delivery Manager for the Anadarko, Hugoton, and Arkoma assets. He has a broad technical background that enables effective leadership of multi-discipline technical teams and has a passion for leading teams to deliver integrated business results. Mr. Niccum is a graduate of Purdue University and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
