Sr. Vice President - Anadarko Group

Mr. Roberts joined Jones Energy in 1998 and is responsible for managing the Jones Energy Anadarko Asset group. Mr. Roberts has over 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry having most recently served as Sr. Vice President of Engineering. Responsibilities currently include oversight of all land, geology and engineering functions associated with the Jones Energy E&P operations in the Anadarko Basin. Prior to Jones Energy, Mr. Roberts worked as a District Engineer with Samson Resources in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He primarily worked with HPHT gas wells in the Anadarko and Arkoma Basins. Prior to Samson, Mr. Roberts served as an operations, production and reservoir engineer for Marathon Oil Company. This tenure included working with various oil reservoirs in the Permian Basin including the prolific Yates Field in West Texas. Mr. Roberts holds a BS in petroleum engineering and a MBA from Texas Tech University.
