Vice President - Finance

Mr. Wehner joined Jones Energy in July 2001. He has over 30 years of broad financial management experience. Mr. Wehner’s responsibilities with Jones Energy principally include all accounting, tax and financial reporting. Following three years of audit experience at Coopers & Lybrand in Houston, Mr. Wehner spent six years as CFO with Cinco Energy Company in Houston, an independent exploration and production company with drilling activities centered in southwestern Kansas, Oklahoma, south Texas, and the Louisiana coast. He also spent nine years in commercial real estate and seven years with a publicly-traded educational publishing firm in Austin. Mr. Wehner is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas and a MBA from the University of Houston.
