Jonny Jones
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jones founded Jones Energy in 1988 with the Jones Family from Albany, Texas. With family roots in the petroleum industry dating back to the 1920's, Mr. Jones is a third generation explorationist with over 20 years of experience focusing on the U.S. Mid-Continent. Through his direction, Jones Energy has resurrected natural gas exploration of Permian reservoirs in the Texas Panhandle utilizing 3D seismic and horizontal drilling. Jones Energy has noted discoveries in Hansford, Hutchinson, Gray and Lipscomb counties Texas along with additional activity in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana and West Virginia. Mr. Jones was formerly a production geologist with Standard Oil/British Petroleum working in Oklahoma City, Dallas and Houston. Mr. Jones serves on the Advisory Council of the University of Oklahoma School of Geology and Geophysics and has been actively involved in fund raising efforts at the school. He is active in the American Association of Petroleum Geologist, Independent Petroleum Association of America and Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association. He holds a BS in geology from the University of Oklahoma and an MA in geology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mike McConnell
President
Mr. McConnell joined the company in January, 2004 and has over 20 years of domestic and international energy experience. He has served in senior management positions with P&L; responsibility in a wide spectrum of areas in the energy business. He served as CEO of the Generation and Production Group for Enron Corp. Prior to that position, Mr. McConnell served as CEO of Enron Global Markets, LLC, which included the following global trading and origination businesses: Crude & Products, Coal, LNG, Emissions, Shipping, and several other Financial Trading groups. He was also responsible for Enron Japan. Prior to these assignments, Mr. McConnell served as Vice Chairman and COO for Enron Net Works, CEO of Global Technology, President of Houston Pipe Line and Louisiana Resources Company as well as other various gas supply and marketing positions. Prior to joining Enron in 1987, he began his career in the Exploration and Production sector as a landman for Champlin Petroleum Company. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1982 with a BBA in Petroleum Land Management with an emphasis on Law. He is a member of the Price Business School Board of Advisors for the University of Oklahoma, has served on several other corporate and charitable Boards of Directors in the past, and is an active member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America focusing as a member of the natural gas steering committee.

Jon Rex Jones
Chairman
Mr. Jones is a veteran crude oil and natural gas producer with over 40 years industry experience and serves in an advisory role for Jones Energy. After receiving a BS in geology from the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Jones joined his father and brother as a partner in their Albany, Texas firm. Active in industry affairs, Jon Rex served as president of the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) from 1983 to 1985 and received IPAA's highest honor "Chief Roughneck for 1998". Mr. Jones was named "Oilman of the Year" by the West Central Texas Oil and Gas Association, which he also served as president. He is immediate past President of the Texas Oil and Gas Association, serves on the Executive Committee of the U.S. Oil & Gas Association, and represents independent oil and gas producers on the National Petroleum Council. He served as the first Environmental Committee Chairman of the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association and serves on the Environmental Committees of both the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission and the IPAA. Currently, Mr. Jones is chairman of EnerVest Management Company, L.C., serves on the Board of Directors of the First National Bank Albany/Breckenridge and is active in church and civic affairs in Albany.

Hal Hawthorne
Vice President of Exploration
Mr. Hawthorne joined Jones Energy in 1998 and is responsible for generating and directing the company's exploration and development drilling opportunities. Mr. Hawthorne has over 20 years experience in the generation of exploration and development prospects primarily in the Mid-Continent, Permian Basin, Rocky Mountains and Western Canada. He has extensive experience in the Red Fork, Morrow, and Springer Sand plays (Pennsylvanian) of the Anadarko Basin and has been responsible for the company's extensive Morrow Sand exploitation play in the Texas Panhandle portion of the Anadarko Basin. He most recently comes from AnSon Gas Corporation where he served as Exploration Manager primarily focusing on 3-D seismic exploration in the Permian Basin and development of Red Fork Sands in Western Oklahoma. Mr. Hawthorne's early career consists of various geological positions with Standard Oil / British Petroleum / TexCon Oil and Gas in Oklahoma City, Dallas and Houston. He has international experience with Canadian Hunter in Calgary, Canada and Rocky Mountain experience with PG&E; Resources in Dallas. He is a member of American Association of Petroleum Geologist, Oklahoma City Geological Society, and the West Texas Geological Society and holds a BS and MS in geology from Baylor University.

Chris Goss
Geoscience Development Manager
Mr. Goss is a second-generation petroleum geologist who joined Jones Energy in 2005 with 13 years of industry experience. He began his career employed as a Geologic Intern with Samedan Oil Company. His geologic career includes work as an Independent Consulting Geologist, a geologist for Sonat Exploration Company and most recently as an exploration geologist for Ward Petroleum. He has worked numerous areas extensively in Western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, primarily in the Red Fork, Morrow, Springer, Atoka and Granite Wash plays along the Wichita Mountain Front in the deep Anadarko basin. He also has extensively worked the shelf Penn sands of the Arkoma Basin in Eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas. Other extensive 3D seismic work includes the Hunton and Morrow plays of Wheeler County, Texas. His education includes receiving his B.S. in Geology from the University of Oklahoma in 1991 followed by a M.S. in Geology from Baylor University in 1995.

Jody Crook
Vice President of Land
Mr. Crook joined Jones Energy in 2005 with broad experience in both the upstream and downstream sectors of the energy industry. Mr. Crook is fourth generation Oil and Gas, and began his career for Texaco in the Sho-Vel-Tum field of Southern Oklahoma working as a summer roustabout. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Crook joined Enron Corp in 2000 as an analyst in their Risk Management Group. He also served as an analyst in Enron Global Markets' LNG group. Mr. Crook has most recently worked as a Senior Landman for Southwestern Energy Production Company in Houston, Texas, where he had responsibilities for exploration, development, and new ventures spanning the Gulf Coast, East Texas, Permian Basin and Rocky Mountains. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Energy Management Program at the University of Oklahoma. He holds a BBA from the University of Oklahoma, with majors in Petroleum Land Management and Finance.

Stephen Roberts
Sr. Vice President - Engineering
Mr. Roberts joined Jones Energy in January, 1998 and is responsible for managing the Jones Energy assets. Mr. Roberts has over 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry having most recently worked as Operations Manager for Jones Energy in Austin, Texas. Responsibilities include production and drilling operations primarily in the Texas Panhandle. Prior to Jones Energy, Mr. Roberts worked as a District Engineer with Samson Resources in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He primarily worked with gas wells in the Anadarko and Arkoma Basins. Prior to Samson, Mr. Roberts served as an operations, production and reservoir engineer for Marathon Oil Company. This tenure included working with various oil reservoirs in the Permian Basin including the prolific Yates Field in West Texas. Mr. Roberts holds a BS degree in petroleum engineering and a MBA from Texas Tech University.

Todd Wehner
Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wehner joined the Jones group in 2001 as COO with over 25 years of broad financial management experience. Mr. Wehner's responsibilities encompass financing, budgeting, planning, and administration. He came to Jones Energy with experience in accounting, cash management, financing, tax, and investor promotion and relations. Following three years of audit experience at Coopers & Lybrand in Houston, Texas, Mr. Wehner spent six years as the CFO with Cinco Energy Company in Houston, an independent exploration and production company with drilling activities centered in southwestern Kansas, Oklahoma, south Texas, and the Louisiana coast. He also spent nine years in real estate, primarily with the Prudential Real Estate Investment Group, and seven years with a publicly-held educational publishing firm in Austin. Mr. Wehner is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA from the University of Houston
