Stephen Roberts joined Jones Energy in 1998 and has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His prior experience includes District Engineer with Samson Resources and operations, production and reservoir engineer for Marathon Oil Company. Mr. Roberts began his career at Jones Energy as a Senior Engineer and has held several positions since then including Senior Vice President of both the Anadarko and Arkoma Assets. Mr. Roberts currently serves on the Texas Tech Rawls School of Business Advisory Board and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and actively supports the Austin Trail Foundation. Mr. Roberts holds a BS in petroleum engineering and an MBA from Texas Tech University.
