Geoscience Development Manager

Mr. Goss joined Jones Energy in 2005 and is a second-generation petroleum geologist with 15 years of industry experience. He began his career as a Geologic Intern with Samedan Oil Company. His geologic career includes work as an Independent Consulting Geologist, a geologist for Sonat Exploration Company and most recently as an exploration geologist for Ward Petroleum. He has worked numerous areas in Western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, primarily in the Cleveland, Red Fork, Morrow, Springer, Atoka and Granite Wash plays along the Wichita Mountain Front in the deep Anadarko basin. He also has extensively worked the shelf Penn sands of the Arkoma Basin in Eastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas. Other extensive 3D seismic work includes the Hunton and Morrow plays of Wheeler County, Texas. He holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Oklahoma and a M.S. in Geology from Baylor University.
